Caspers at MacDill Air Fest

Caspers at MacDill Air Fest

WHAT A WEEKEND!!! You think you’re in good company then all of a sudden you start rubbing elbows with the Coalition Generals and their families. On May 12 and 13, 2018, we could not have been more proud to serve our McDonald’s® lunch to a humbler group of men and women in uniform. The traffic to get onto MacDill Air Force Base may have been horrific, but the thank you and gratitude we felt from the military sure washed away…

Caspers Company Community Relations Department has a special initiative called Caspers Cares. The program is designed to bring joy and laughter to families at local Ronald McDonald Houses® and children’s hospitals. Our first hospital visit of 2018 was at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg. Caspers Cares at Walk For Wishes®

Waterworks Park in downtown Tampa sure was the place to be on April 28, 2018 as families and local businesses assembled to support Make-A-Wish® Tampa.  Supporters in our community worked together at this year’s Walk For Wishes® to raise money to grant wishes for children with critical illnesses. These life-changing wishes are only possible because of supporters and volunteers. Caspers Cares was on hand with some feel-good golden moments. You name it, we had it! Our Caspers stores helped to…

Caspers’ 34th Honor Flight

Caspers’ 34th Honor Flight

Usually, we get up at 1:00 a.m. and use the restroom, NOT TODAY! This time our Caspers group of volunteers was up to serve. Celebrating our 34th Honor Flight on April 24 at St Pete/Clearwater International Airport, our troop was on hand  to deliver a hot breakfast and to welcome Veterans from WWII, Vietnam, and the Korean War. The veterans, along with their guardians, embarked on a somewhat spiritual journey to Washington, DC to take in the sights of their…

CABA Taste of Carrollwood

CABA Taste of Carrollwood

Taking over George Steinbrenner Field, Caspers’ team served tasty treats to delight young and old on April 14. We had general managers, department and shift managers, crew, and community relations staff spread throughout the concourse and outside as hungry and thirsty onlookers sampled what McDonald’s® has to offer. Cookies, fruit smoothies, fruit n’ yogurt parfaits, sweet tea, and of course Happy Meal® toys for the young at heart. A success? Why yes, the smiles were there to prove it!
