This English Under the Arches (EUA) Shifts Basics class was taught by Bianca Pinkerton. It focuses on listening and speaking skills needed to train our crew and gets students ready to take the Shift Conversation class. The Shift Conversation class covers listening and speaking tasks needed to run a shift: delegation, conversation for training, maintaining a respectful workplace and how to speak with our customers. All of the EUA classes incorporate computer training, on the floor training, and interactive lectures with an instructor.
This class was huge and so was the knowledge the students gained. Ten of our stores sent sixteen people to class. They all were happy and proud of their accomplishments. If anyone is interested in attending an English Under the Arches class, speak to your general manager and call the Education Department at the Caspers main office.
