I was born and raised in Tampa, graduated from Gaither High School and received my bachelor’s degree from USF. My Husband, Carlos, and I have been married for over 25 years and have two children, Erin and Sebastian. While Carlos was serving in the military, we moved around to several different places, before ending up in Virginia where we stayed for many years. In 2012, we decided it was finally time to move back home to Florida.
A few fun facts about me include: I have traveled to more than a dozen different countries, I am a certified scuba diver, and have gone diving at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Although I have never encountered a shark while diving, I have gone snorkeling with whale sharks at the EPCOT and Georgia Aquariums.
Before joining Caspers Company, I worked at HIS Markit for more than 18 years. I started as a staff accountant and was then promoted to accounting manager for their Virginia office. After that, I moved into the role of data transformation principal and was then responsible for migrating and integrating financial data from legacy systems into the main SAP system.
I started with Caspers as a consultant for a couple of months where my role has been to document and evaluate business processes to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and automation. Now, as a permanent employee, I will be more involved with month end close and financial reporting activities. I am very happy to be part of the Caspers team and look forward to this exciting new chapter of my career!
